Flower Mound, Texas, is a Dallas suburb that's undergone rapid growth from a sleepy town of 20,000 to over 75,000. This puts a tremendous strain on municipal government and its IT department.

 

Flower Mound's communications systems has over 700 phone stations, emergency systems, etc. recently converted to Mitel technology. When they moved the entire communications system to a new town hall, they were able to move the servers, flick a switch and be fully functional. 

 

Low-key case studies like this are often the most powerful way to explain features and benefits to an audience of peers. The target audience can see themselves and their own challenges and opportunities in the scenario, and immediately recognize the positive impact of the technologies being offered. 

 

By hiring and instructing a remote crew using video conference technology, I produced and directed this Texas-based storyline entirely from my production office in California.
