My creative Video Growth Hacking and content marketing strategies and campaigns have generated rapid growth and hundreds of millions in incremental income for my clients over a 30+ year career.  

 

As an owner of marketing, PR and video automation firms, I've helped emerging and established companies and organizations grow rapidly and increase their valuation using both viral and traditional marketing techniques, often centered on video. 

 

My strategic content has contributed significant marketing and sales breakthroughs for large organizations including Logitech, HP, Avnet, Sprint, Mitel, Make-a-Wish Foundation, HomeAid America, Amway and many small and mid-sized businesses and nonprofits.

 

I have yet to find an industry sector that doesn't benefit enormously from a creative video content strategy.

 

Video Production

 

As a producer and founder of the content production company Edge Films, I can attest to the extraordinary power of video in the marketing process.  I've written, produced and directed hundreds of corporate, commercial, educational and documentary videos and multimedia presentations, many of which have aired on major television networks both in the U.S. and abroad and are featured on websites and video platforms all over the web.

 

In my work with Vision2Media, Rick Davis and I pioneered video-enhanced strategic navigation for websites. In 2007, we co-founded Voodoo Video Marketing, a software platform to automate and personalize video communications. Today, Voodoo makes magic for countless companies through the power of Automated Video Communications and our Video Brandcaster software for video personalization and social sharing. 

 

Education & Awards

 

I hold degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Florence, Italy. My work has been featured in many consumer and trade publications, and has been recognized with numerous Addy and Telly Awards, Summit International Creative Awards, a Golden Eagle, and the nation’s highest PR honor, the Silver Anvil Award from the Public Relations Society of America.

 

And what about Music?

 

Many know me from my life as a singer/songwriter/guitarist + music producer, which was my full-time occupation many moons ago and is now a pure-pleasure sideline.

 

In my teens, I released an acoustic singer-songwriter LP called Over the Line, available on Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

 

In the mid-90s, my wife Bara and I wrote and recorded an Indie Rock CD called Get This, which was recently re-released in a new remastered and expanded edition.

 

Today, our duo performs under the name Cosmic Spin, exercising our love of great songs by turning them inside out with soulful harmonies, layered guitars and deep grooves, all with a psychedelic twist.

 

In 2019, we released a 6-track EP of classic songs, re-imagined, called Gilding Lilies, which has amassed over 200,000 plays on Spotify. Our version of Neil Young's After the Goldrush hit #1 on the iTunes Alternative Folks chart in the UK.
