MVI is an up-and-coming World Chamber Jazz quintet, led by composer-guitarist Mark Vickness.  
As a musician myself, I love to capture the essence of other talented musical artists on video.
Video is an increasingly vital way for musicians to gain attention and support from fans and investors. 

Mark Vickness is probably the best guitarist-composer you've never heard of. But that's about to change. Mark hired me to shoot and edit two videos for his band's booking materials and for their pitch to Fine Arts investors to support and underwrite the MVI's upcoming live performances and tours.

The first video captures the essence and intimacy of MVI (Mark Vickness Interconnected) in live studio performances of intricate, genre-bending Vickness compositions, plus their joyful acoustic arrangement of Weather Report's "Birdland."

The second video, What is MVI?, features a long-form interview with Mark, detailing the origins, motivations, and insider info that make this exciting new group a vital part of today's cultural arts scene.
