Valley Montessori School is California's only triple-accredited elementary and middle school. This video is the welcome that greets every visitor to their new website, and recruits new students and parents. 

Located in Livermore, CA, Valley Montessori School is a special K-8 educational environment. I had the privilege of helping them replace a long-standing Wordpress website that was long-in-the-tooth and cumbersome to work with. 

A key part of the new site's design plan was to incorporate video content to SHOW site visitors the school's magic and inspire them with moving images rather than relying on words and still images. 

Through carefully planned logistics and the advance signing of appearance releases by nearly every student and teacher (thanks to the intrepid VMS staff!), we were able to capture video footage very efficiently, including drone footage that required a special permit to fly in the FAA-protected airspace over the school.  

I produced and edited this Welcome to VMS video, plus a separate video for the webpage of each unique program offered by the school, from Art, to Music, to Phys Ed to the Innovation Lab, and more. This large-scale project quickly led to a follow-up project, producing a series of fundraising videos for the school's annual campaign.
